I&#8217;m sure you&#8217;re as fed up with the story as I am.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;One of the things which has cheered me is how many people have expressed support in the last few days. I&#8217;m touched and grateful.&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Top Gear presenter reportedly &#8216;considering leaving BBC anyway&#8217; even if he&#8217;s cleared<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Clarkson &#8216;reported himself&#8217; to BBC because his team was turning against him<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Simon Cowell leapt to Jeremy\u2019s defence, \u201cI like Jeremy. He has said some stupid things and he knows that, but he\u2019s apologised,\u201d the 55-year-old<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>BBC left embarrassed after airing Top Gear repeat in which host fantasises about punching a man<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>When asked if he was worried about getting the boot, the controversial motor show said: \u201cHonestly, it\u2019s very soon. He allegedly punched one of the producers on the show, but this is not the first time he is in hot waters. Jeremy was warned last year after using racist language on the show.<\/p>\n<p>However this time around he has been suspended pending investigation. The BBC has issued a statement in which they said, &#8220;No one else has been suspended. <a title=\"Top Gear\" href=\"http:\/\/www.topgear.com\/uk\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Top Gear<\/strong><\/a> will not be broadcast this Sunday. The BBC will be making no further comment at this time.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Special news correspondent Lucy Manning said that Jeremy Clarkson was suspended for \u201callegedly hitting the producer and incident is believed to have happened last week, but was reported to the BBC on Monday and dealt with on Tuesday,&#8221; she added.<\/p>\n<p>As usual, Clarkson came on Twitter to make fun of the situation. In a tweet, he said, &#8220;Sorry Ed.
