Cullinan is the name of the world\u2019s largest uncut diamond, found in South Africa in 1905. One of the diamonds cut from the original, called Cullinan I or the Great Star of Africa, is the world\u2019s largest cut diamond and sits in The <a title=\"Royal Sceptre\" href=\"http:\/\/www.royalcollection.org.uk\/exhibitions\/cullinan-i-the-sovereigns-sceptre\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Queen\u2019s Sceptre<\/strong><\/a> in the Tower of London.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"BMW Car Sharing Model for London\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reconditionengines.co.uk\/blog\/rental-firm-sixt-bmw-launch-drivenow-car-sharing-model-london\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>BMW<\/strong><\/a> Sales and Marketing boss, Ian Robertson, a former Chairman of Rolls-Royce, revealed the code name, while also telling us a little about the positioning of the new SUV.<\/p>\n<p>The Rolls-Royce Cullinan will sit beneath the Phantom in the Rolls-Royce range. \u201cThe Phantom always has to be the pinnacle,\u201d Robertson told us. He also revealed that the Cullinan is likely to use a development of the Phantom\u2019s lightweight aluminium space frame rather than an all-new platform.<\/p>\n<p>The space frame has already been modified for the Phantom Extended Wheelbase, as well as the Phantom Coup\u00e9 and Phantom Drop Head Coup\u00e9. That means the Cullinan is likely to share engine technology with a new Phantom, including a new version of the <a title=\"Reconditioned engines\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reconditionengines.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>V12 engine<\/strong><\/a> and a plug-in hybrid.
